I seem to remember a tamale shaped building on the corner of Whittier Blvd and Mobile in East Los Angeles. When we moved from Missouri to California in 1952 my aunt and uncle lived on Mobile around the corner from the building and I could tell where to turn when I saw that building. Does anyone else remember that building?

Yes, I was a kid living on Mobile Street right by the Tamale. We moved away in about 1954, but I still remember having good Mex food there.
