looks like the XC-99, the transport version of the B-36. Only one was made, and it used to sit on an otherwise deserted ramp at the now- closed Kelly AFB. I understand that it is in the process of being relocated to the AF museum at Wright-Patterson AFB for eventual restoration. The airliner version never got off the ground (in more ways than one).

Yes, this is the XC-99. It was the C-5 of its day and during the Korean War was very valuable to send outsized cargo from the East to West Coast.
